The Honegger Animal Clinic team of skilled veterinarians welcomes you to our practice. Proudly serving the Ossian and Central areas. At Honegger Animal Clinic, it is our daily privilege to provide quality vet care to your cherished pet, with compassion and competence. We hope to ensure a positive impact on our patients, pet owners and the local community.


Dr. Makowski

Dr. Patty Makowski chose her career at the age of ten. Her grandfather owned a dairy farm in Huntington County, which she spent countless hours helping on the farm, especially at milking time. Sadie one of her favorite cows developed hardware disease and died suddenly. Her grandfather’s veterinarian could do nothing to save Sadie’s life. This made such a deep impression, that she vowed to help animals the rest of her life. After graduating from Bluffton High School in 1980, she attended Purdue University.

Dr. Makowski joined the Honegger Animal Clinic in 1987 after graduating from Purdue with a bachelors of Science in Animal Science and a DVM. Her focus is on small animal medicine and surgery. She has served on the Wells County Health Board for many years and is an avid supporter of the Wells County 4-H program.

Dr. Makowski is married to husband Joel and has two children Nick and Rachel. Both children are graduates of Purdue. Nick has a food science degree and Rachel an animal science degree. In her spare time Dr. Makowski likes to quilt, read, cook and travel! Spending time with her family and caring for animals are her passion in life.


Dr. Kelley Reynolds

Dr. Kelley Reynolds is originally from a small farming community in Greensburg, IN. Growing up she had numerous indoor and outdoor pets consisting of cats and dogs to livestock and rabbits. She spent most of her free time taking care of them.

She received her Bachelors of Animal Science in 2000, Masters of Reproductive Physiology in 2001, and Doctor of Veterinary Medicine in 2006 from Purdue University. After graduation she worked as a mixed animal practitioner in Albion, IN for a year and half before joining the Honegger Animal Clinic.

Dr. Kelley Reynolds has special interests in endocrinology, animal behavior, dermatology, pocket pets, and soft tissue surgery. She is currently a member of AVMA, and IVMA.

Out of the clinic Dr. Kelley Reynolds is married with two children and several pets. When not at the clinic she can be found out in the garden or cooking in the kitchen.


Dr. Sarah Fidler

Dr. Fidler joined our practice in the fall of 2016. Originally from Ohio, she completed her Bachelor’s degree at Ohio University, and then received her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine at Mississippi State University.

When she’s not busy treating patients, Dr. Fidler enjoys running with her dogs and working on her home. Her fur family consists of an Australian shepherd named Sydney, a Staffordshire terrier named Rosie, and two ornery cats named Frank and Ava.
